Leather care

Leather is sturdy, but avoiding extreme conditions will ensure its longevity.

  • Avoid swimming: Refrain from submerging leather pieces in water. Rain is acceptable, but soaking wet leather must be kept on a form (face, body, etc.) until fully dry to maintain its shape.
  • Cleaning: Gently wash with a washcloth to remove dirt and makeup. Makeup remover wipes are effective for cleaning the inside of masks.
  • Maintenance: Various leather nourishment products are available, but avoid products containing dyes. I recommend Saddle Soap.
  • Storage: Avoid repeatedly shoving the item into a bag or placing it under heavy objects. If misshapen, I can assess and attempt to revitalize it.
